Indiana State Law: Senate Bill 78

Beginning with the 2026–27 school year, all Indiana school districts are required to follow a new state law (SB 78) regarding student personal wireless communication devices, which includes: Cellphones, Smartwatches, Tablets, Personal laptops for personal use, Gaming devices, and Meta Glasses during the school day.

Meet the Teacher 1st - 5th Grade - August 4th

We encourage all 2026-2027 New Augusta Public Academy South students and their families to join us for Meet the Teacher Night on Tuesday, August 4^{^th}!

1^st – 5^th Grades – 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, August 6th is our first day of school!

Parents/Guardians will be able to access your child's bus routing information directly through Skyward toward the end of the month/beginning of August.

We look forward to a wonderful 2026-2027 school year!
